With Node.js came the dream of writing a single codebase and having it run on the client as well as the server. Now, a number of tools and libraries are helping us make this a reality. Soon, it will be the preferred way to build for the web. In this talk, we will look at tools and techniques for building Isomorphic JavaScript apps and discuss the reasons why you may want to do this for your next website or application. We'll walk through an application built with React and Browserify. In addition, we'll examine how this style of web development works with the design process.
